How does billing work?
Through Apple. Subscriptions are purchased with your Apple ID inside the app, and Apple handles the billing, receipts, and renewals — we never see or store your payment details.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — manage or cancel from your App Store subscription settings, like any other subscription. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Your data is never deleted because a subscription ends.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Everything you've stored stays safe and viewable. If you're over the Free plan's limits, you won't be able to add beyond them until you're back under — but your existing records, pets, and history remain yours.
Do family members need their own subscription?
No. People you invite use Snoutbook free for the pets you share with them — their AI questions about your pets simply count against your plan's allowance.
